Hope

I started looking for those small glimmer moments, glimmers for my children and ones for me. It started small, I had to dig deep into my dry robe pockets, but the sunlight on the river, a new leaf on my Devil’s Ivy helped me to see I could be bigger than this. I don’t think it is a surprise that they mainly came from nature, especially at the beginning, but as I noticed them and became more practiced I saw (and still do) see more of them.

I would love to share as many of our Hope moments as I can, so we can collectively glimmer and show Mermaid strength. Please click on the insta link and message me your moments. I will include those I can below and on our newsletter.

And if you are not there yet, not ready to see the Hope just wait, it will come. Message or follow me on the below xoxo.

My daughter had called, saying she was having flashbacks and then the school called, asking where she was, why she had left before the school day even started.

Hope #3

The first time I was believed. The first time my children were heard.

It was the morning of my first Court appearance, I had to speak to the Cafcass officer, I didn’t really understand the legal protocol and in hindsight should have done far more research but I was exhausted, barely sleeping or eating and the girls were living on pasta.
